About the Artists & Prints
Philip & Glyn Martin
Since 1983, artist brothers Philip and Glyn Martin have been touring Britain capturing, in finely detailed watercolour paintings, the much loved towns, villages and favourite places of England, Scotland and Wales. From these paintings, a strictly limited edition of 850 prints is produced, published as Portraits of Britain. These are printed on 100% cotton, acid-free paper made especially for them by an English Mill, which gives an exceptional quality.
Although best known for Portraits of Britain, artist brothers Philip and Glyn Martin have also travelled to America, France, Holland and Belgium adding to their portfolio.
A framed or mounted print of your town, city or village makes a wonderful souvenir, a birthday or anniversary gift or a memorable leaving present. Portraits of Britain include Cathedrals and canal scenes, colleges and castles, National Trust and English Heritage properties as well as Britain’s beautiful landscapes.
Search through our site to find limited edition prints of the Yorkshire Dales, the Peak District, the Cotswolds, the Sussex Downs, Dartmoor, the New Forest and much more.
Philip and Glyn Martin formed Cambrooke Fine Art Publishers Limited to publish and market prints of their watercolour paintings. Established 24 years ago, it is a friendly family company that is small enough to give a personal, efficient service to all its customers.
Philip and Glyn Martin’s originals are sometimes available. Should you be interested in these or a special commission, please contact us.
Philip and Glyn’s work regularly appears in the Annual Fine Art Trade Guild survey of Best Selling Images and they have frequently been finalists in the Guild’s Artist of the Year awards. Cambrooke has also been a finalist in the Supplier of the Year award.
